About the Founder

Architect John Andrew Patricio graduated from the University of Santo Tomas in 2011 after successfully making it to the list of the Top 10 Theses for his research on skyscrapers and vertical cities.

He began as an Architectural Trainee under the mentorship of notable architect and founder of Rchitects. Inc. , Bong Recio, who is responsible for the design of buildings such as The Oratory of St Francis (Xavier Chapel), FEU Tech Building in Manila, Twin Oaks Place, 2 Quad Office Building in Cebu, The Bellevue in Bohol, Serin West in Tagaytay and various highrise buildings in Bonifacio Global City to name a few.

After he passed the Licensure Exam in 2013, he was promoted to Junior Designer.

In 2015, the young architect relocated to Singapore where he developed an appreciation for socially and environmentally adaptive design while employed at Hyundai Engineering & Construction as a design coordinator. He worked on one of Singapore's iconic buildings, the Marina One. which was designed by Ingenhoven Architects of Germany with Singapore based firm, Architects 61.

The one year stint eventually led him back to Rchitects, Inc. and a year later, his contribution to the completion of multiple projects such as high-rise condominiums, hotels, university buildings, offices, resorts, and residential projects earned him the title of Senior Designer in 2017.

in pursuit of practicing and further developing his passion in design, he simultaneously started JUXTAPOSE.
